The Interstate Compact (MIC3) addresses key educational transition issues encountered by children of military families. ThrivePoint Academy Nevada demonstrates its commitment to supporting immigrant students and families by actively fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. This is achieved through programs and initiatives designed to address the unique needs of immigrant communities. By prioritizing inclusivity and creating a safe space for students and their families. ThrivePoint Academy Nevada aims to ensure that every individual feels valued and empowered to succeed academically and socially. Through the removal of barriers and enhancement of collaborative efforts, ThrivePoint Academy has created a consistent learning environment for the students in foster care to ensure academic achievement. Students in foster care are children or youth placed in the legal custody or care of the state child welfare agency or a court-appointed guardian due to abuse, neglect, or other factors requiring out-of-home placement. Support for Students in Foster Care: ThrivePoint Academy provides support for students in foster care to include: 1. Enrollment support regardless of documentation, including school record or immunization record 2. Support in maintaining school stability, even if placement changes occur. 3. Collaboration with child welfare agencies to address educational needs and support the transition between schools 4.
