ThrivePoint Academy Graduation Ceremony – Class of 2026
ThrivePoint is excited to celebrate the Class of 2026 at our upcoming Graduation Ceremony!

5:00–7:00 p.m.
ThrivePoint supports students in completing their Nevada Standard Diploma requirements while building a path toward college, careers, and personal success.
Students who complete all required credits and testing requirements will be invited to participate in the ceremony. Seniors should stay in communication with their Student Success Coach to confirm their graduation plan and timeline.
Skillify Mentorship Program – Career Readiness for High School Students
Students at ThrivePoint will have the opportunity to participate in the Skillify Mentorship Program on April 24, 2026, an engaging experience designed to help students explore careers and prepare for life after high school.
As part of our non-traditional high school model in Nevada, ThrivePoint connects students with real-world opportunities that support career exploration and personal growth.
During the in-person launch event, students will:
- Learn networking and career readiness skills
- Be matched with a mentor in a career field they want to explore
- Receive one-on-one support in planning their future education and career pathway
This program helps students graduate career-ready and confident about their Next Big Step.

Enrollment Kick-off & Title I Meeting
Families are invited to attend the 4th ThrivePoint Academy Family Information Meeting on April 17, 2026 at 3:00 PM.
This on-campus meeting will give families the opportunity to:
- Learn more about ThrivePoint’s programs
- Connect with community partners
- Share ideas for the school’s Title I program
- Receive assistance completing 2026–2027 online registration

Edmentum Testing – Required Student Assessment
ThrivePoint is currently in the third Edmentum testing window, an important academic milestone for students.
As a charter high school in Nevada offering flexible learning pathways, ThrivePoint uses Edmentum assessments to help students demonstrate mastery in their courses and stay on track for graduation.
Students earn course credit upon completing Edmentum testing in their assigned classes. Testing will take place during the second hour of scheduled sessions until complete.
Students should log in using their Google credentials through the testing link provided and reach out to their Student Success Coach if they need assistance.
ACT Make-Up Day for Juniors & Seniors
All juniors and seniors who have not yet completed the ACT exam must attend ACT Make-Up Day. The ACT is a Nevada graduation requirement, so it is important that students complete the exam if they have not already done so. If you have questions about your student’s testing status, please contact your Student Success Coach.
Testing Details
Date: Tuesday, April 21, 2026
Location: ThrivePoint Academy Campus
Arrival Time: 8:00 AM
The ACT includes four sections—listening, reading, writing, and speaking—with each section taking approximately one hour to complete. Students should plan to remain on campus until about 1:00 PM and may only leave once their testing session is finished.
After Testing
Students are encouraged to stay on campus for the remainder of the school day to meet with teachers and receive support in their courses. All students must be picked up by 3:45 PM. Bus passes will be available for students who need transportation.

2026–2027 Online Registration Now Open
Online registration for the 2026–2027 school year is now available. Families can access their pre-populated re-enrollment form through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
Please check your email for detailed instructions on how to set up your Parent Portal account using your unique account setup link and how to access your student’s re-enrollment form.

Free Summer School for ThrivePoint Students
ThrivePoint Academy is offering free summer school for all currently enrolled students through Learning Period 7 (LP7). This program provides students with an opportunity to earn credits, stay on track for graduation, and continue making academic progress during the summer months.
Summer School Dates
May 26 – July 17, 2026 (8-week learning period)
Important Information
- Parents/guardians must first complete online registration for the 2026–2027 school year before their student can participate in summer school.
- Instructions for completing online re-enrollment were sent via email.
- After completing online registration, parents/guardians must also submit the 2026 Summer School (LP7) Scheduler Form.
- Students will be enrolled in one course at a time and should plan to complete each class within four weeks.
- June 29, 2026 is the final day students can open a new course during summer school.

Communities In Schools (CIS) Partnership
ThrivePoint has proudly partnered with Communities In Schools (CIS) to further support our students and families. CIS works to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve success in life.
Our CIS Student Support Coordinator, Mrs. Amanda Musones-Chandler, is available on campus to provide assistance with basic and academic needs, as well as post-graduation support. Services include free school supplies, hygiene products, clothing assistance, food support, college and career readiness guidance, and referrals to community resources.
To access these supports, families are encouraged to reach out directly or have their student connect with Mrs. Musones-Chandler by email, phone, or in person.
Family Meal Bags Available
Family Meal Bags are available on campus for eligible students. Students may take a meal bag home on Wednesdays or Thursdays at the end of their session. Remote students are also welcome to pick up a bag from campus.
Each Family Meal Bag includes non-perishable pantry staples such as cereal, pasta, canned vegetables, and other food items. Please note that bags are limited each week.

ThrivePoint Graduation - Save the Date!
Date: Thursday, May 28, 2026
Time: 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Only students who have completed the required credits and testing requirements for the Nevada Standard Diploma will be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony. Students should stay in regular communication with their Student Success Coach to review their graduation plan and confirm their target graduation date.
Enrollment Kick-off & Title I Meeting
Date: Friday, April 17, 2026
Time: 3:30 p.m.
The meeting will be held on campus only. Families are invited to learn more about our program, community partners, and contribute ideas to our Title I program.
Enrollment staff will also be ready to assist families in completing online registration for the 2026-2027 school year. Parents/Guardians just need to bring in an updated copy of Proof of Residence and Photo ID.
School Board Meeting
Date: Monday, May 24, 2026
Time: 3:30 p.m.
The meeting will take place on campus and will also be accessible virtually via Microsoft Teams. The meeting agenda will be posted on the school website at least three business days prior to the meeting.
Cell Phone Policy
Over the summer, Joe Lombardo signed Nevada Senate Bill 444 into law, requiring all Nevada schools to adopt a policy addressing the use and possession of cell phones by students.
Under this law, school policies must include:
- A progressive discipline plan based on the number and severity of violations
- Clear limitations on the use of electronic communication devices during instructional time
- Specific exceptions to any limitations outlined in the policy
Capmus Dress code
All ThrivePoint students receive two ThrivePoint t-shirts during their orientation session. As part of our Good Neighbor Campus Policy, students are required to wear their ThrivePoint t-shirt when attending any on-campus school activities.

This includes support sessions, standardized testing, scheduled appointments, and any other campus-based events.

Students who arrive without their t-shirt will be provided with a loaner shirt for the day. If a student needs a different size, a replacement shirt will be provided upon request.

We kindly ask parents and guardians to help reinforce this expectation by ensuring students come to campus prepared and wearing their ThrivePoint t-shirt.
No Bag Policy
To be prepared for a campus support session, students simply need to arrive on time, wear their ThrivePoint t-shirt, and be ready to engage in learning and support.

To maximize student safety and minimize distractions, ThrivePoint maintains a No Bag Policy on campus. Students should not bring backpacks, purses, or other bags to school.

If a student arrives with a bag, it will be collected and securely stored in a locker for the duration of their time on campus.

We kindly ask parents and guardians to help reinforce this policy by ensuring students do not bring bags to school.

Students who have checked out a Chromebook do not need to bring their device to campus, as Chromebooks are available for use during support sessions.
